Restaurant Review 1999
3 Stars

This three star restaurant interior in the Gramercy Park neighborhood of Manhattan employs a minimal palette of warm materials to create a sophisticated interior on a limited budget. The progression from lively bar through a calm dining room culminates in an “altar” in the form of a custom-fabricated wine decanting table. Extensive millwork, finishes, and lighting treatments were designed inexpensively, while the drawings and details progressed in parallel with construction.
